On December 19th, 2024, the OHS Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra had their winter concert. Their concert was directed by Mr. Nicholas Feigenbaum. Together the orchestras played a total of 5 pieces. Their final performance, Farandole by George Bizet/Richard Meyer, was extra special because it featured members of the Wind Ensemble from the OHS Band. 

The concert started off with Four Royal Dances – “The Lord” by Eric Ewazen. This piece was played by the freshman orchestra, followed by Afterburn by Brian Balmages. After that, the Chamber Orchestra perform Capriol Suite by Peter Warlock and Serenade for Strings by Norman Leyden. Their final performance was a combination of freshman Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and members from the Wind Ensemble Classes. They performed Farandole by George Bizet/Richard.

Congratulations to all the seniors who performed their last winter concert. Seniors from the Chamber Orchestra include Daniel Go, Austin Juan, Jason Merino, Jordan Para, Alicia Torres, Reese Caparelli, Sofia Soares, Sakeisha Brown, Massimo Giambona, Mia-Vasiliki Wilkins, and Sabrina Hsieh. Seniors from the Wind Ensemble include Alexa Klainbard, Nathalia Santacruz, Jonathan Kang, Christopher Grant, Anna Bomwell, and Miles Cauthen.
