New iPhone 6’s showing off the new operating system

As a result of a recent update, all iPhones had a description in the “settings” section that the read, “ This update is the biggest release since the launch of the App Store, with hundreds of new features including new Messages and Photos features, QuickType keyboard, a new Health app, iCloud Drive and more”. These are a few of the hundreds of new features that iOS 8 has offered. It doesn’t offer a completely new setup such as iOS 7, yet there are still a multitude of new features that this recent update has added.

This update has added tons of features in the text messaging department. Some of the more notable novelties were the new voice messages. The iPhone owner can now send voice messages while texting. All a person needs to do is hold the little button the right that looks like a little mic and start talking. A different type of feature that is not only relegated to just messaging, but in general, when you are using an iPhone keyboard is the new predictive keyboard. During the typing process, the keyboard predicts and suggests three words similar to the first few letters of the word that’s typed.

A new addition to the iOS lineup is the Health App, which makes a whole new concept of trying to get people fit with the use of Technology. This app involves the idea of recording all of your health information. If you want to go for a jog, your phone can record how much you ran, how many steps you took etc. The “Health Data” component of the app is separated into 7 sections: Body Measurements, Fitness, Me, Nutrition, Results, Sleep, and Vitals. The Data helps you record detailed fitness and health information about yourself.

With all of these new and improved features of Apple’s most cherished products, fans of this storied company have a lot to look forward. While iOS 8 may not actually be, “the biggest release since the launch of the App Store,” it still is a vast improvement from its predecessor, iOS 7.
