I’ll go over the major winning candidates policies and ideals to provide an outlook towards the future of Ossining.

Elizabeth Feldman is a lifelong Ossining resident who plans to embrace the strength of individual workers, volunteers, students, and citizens to work together for a better Ossining. She wants to incorporate more green technologies to reduce consumption as well as to save money. She wants to balance any new building developments with green spaces.

Karen D’Attore is the executive director of the Interfaith Council for Housing Network, who plans to make Ossining government more efficient, better for the environment, as well as improving economic development.

Dana Levenberg plans to find ways to address the increasing school enrollment while maintaining all the current programs they offer. She also wants to reduce property taxes. In addition, she wishes to keep all taxes low and to make Ossining’s governmental services as efficient and responsive as possible. Dana wants to make Ossining more energy efficient, and sustainable in government buildings, infrastructure, as well as business and residences. She wants to maintain parks, roads, and infrastructure. Dana wants to make sure recreational activities tailor to the community’s wishes. Ossining schools and neighborhoods will attempt to be safer under Dana Levenberg. Dana also wants to stress that these goals can’t be achieved without a collaboration of everyone in Ossining.
