Ossining’s class of 2020,

Its election time! And you need to vote for just the right person. Take a look at the candidates below.

President

  • Victoria Lema

Hi, my name is Victoria (Tia) Lema, and I plan to be your future president. I am an organized individual that plans to fundraise a lot and my creativity allows me to constantly be thinking of ideas of how to raise money. My organizational skills will allow for these things to run smoothly. I am determined. I want our grade to have nice things and I’m devoted to making sure they get that. Lastly, I am kind. I embrace other’s ideas, because a collective effort is sometimes better than one person trying to control everything.

  • Alex Pinto

Hi, my name is Alex Pinto, and there are many reasons as to why I should be your future president. I am someone that is always motivated and focused when it comes to accomplishing goals. I have established a sense on influence over the grade, and will be using this platform to induce better communication among our entire grade. In addition, I am open to any new ideas and criticism.

  • Tejas Shah

Hi, my name is Tejas Shah, and I’m running for OHS 2020 class president. You’re probably wondering why you should vote for me. Let me tell you why I’m the best candidate for the job. I was a part of the Leadership program at AMD, where we learned skills that I can use for your benefit. Since 2015, I’ve been part of another Leadership program outside of school, where I’ve learned teaching, leading, and public speaking skills. I am the Treasurer of the JSA club. JSA had a lot of fundraisers this year, where I learned lots of ways to raise money for our class. This means no Semi in the gym. Do you want your Semi in the gym next year? I don’t. I believe I am the best candidate for your president.

Vice President

  • Tiffany Castellano

Hi, my name is Tiffany Castellano, and I think I am a good candidate for Vice President because I am a strong leader. I am also very good at coming up with fundraising ideas. Additionally, I am close with most of the class, and can be the voice of the team. I can also ask for what they would want to do or see happen.

  • Daniel Watson

Hi, my name is Daniel Watson, and I would be a great fit for Vice President because I possess good leadership qualities. I plan ahead to ensure that things go smoothly. I’m flexible and will mostly be able to divide my time to accommodate the tasks I need to complete. Based on my qualities and my availability, I would be a great Vice President.

  • Fanny Zhang

Hi my name is Fanny, and I am a dedicated, responsible, and hard-working individual that plans to be an advocate for the entire student body, if I were to be your Vice President. I am determined to set and achieve various goals that will bring the class of 2020 to a state of security in terms of raised money, planned events, and overall unity among the grade. Additionally, I am a team worker and believes that every voice needs to represented. I will make sure no task is left undone and every task is done with full effort.

  • Mahnoor Zia

Hi my name is Mahnoor, and I believe I would be a great Vice President. I possess many leadership qualities from past participation in Girl Scouts and student council. Being in these programs for many years, I have learned to compromise with others, responsible, and open-minded. Additionally, I had to chance to be 2020s class president for the past year.
